The End Has Come!

On May 3rd I graduated from the University of Utah with my Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. Honestly, I never thought I would make it... Had someone told me five years ago that I would complete a Masters Degree I would have laughed in their face, but the end has come! I have only had "a few" nightmares that this day would never happen...

As many of you may know, my family is not big on graduations, however all of my friends were walking so my parents were pressured into coming to my graduation ceremony. It all worked out though... I told them it would be 2 hours long and then when it was only an hour and 15 minutes they were pleasantly surprised :) However, I couldn't have made it through all this schooling without them so I was glad they were there to celebrate with me. (I was too cheap to buy the stole of gratitude for them though... I figured they would just think: "Great, more junk")

My brother J graduated from BYU last week with his MBA, so since we suffered similarly for the last two years, it was nice to have him at my graduation. (In case you noticed the cars in the background, my family was being ever efficient and taking pictures in the parking lot before graduation even started - eliminating the wait time afterwards considerably!)

This is just one of MANY pictures that I took of people in my class. About 23 of us have all been in the same classes for the last two years, so it will be sad not to see them every week. The excitement is radiating from our faces... can you tell?????
